Edward was glad that June was going to be by his side till the end, and he wouldn’t have to assassinate her as well. He was free from one debt, but this sin of making her a prisoner along with him was something he had done purposely. However, he was allowed to live in this house, and last night when Rakta didn’t harm June, it gave him enough reasons to live in this abandoned house forever. He offered thanks from his heart although he knew it was going to be hard every night for him and June to co-exist as the only humans with Rakta who haunted the alleys with her most ominous presence and shrieks that could be heard for miles around. It was her house and she liked it this way, abandoned and cursed!
